YellowBird was established in 2011 by director, designer, and maker Lynley Slater, producing handmade clutch purses and bags in true slow fashion style. Lynley has a passion for design and a need to create.

A lover of fabric, she is passionate about creating small quantities of carefully selected designs and showcases both local and international fabric and leather.  Each YellowBird bag is hand sewn and then hand assembled.  The combination of wooden frames with the fabrics makes the finished product a statement accessory!

YellowBird has grown from humble beginnings, starting in Lynley’s home studio in the beautiful McLaren Vale region of South Australia. YellowBird has become a name synonymous for quality and individuality, with unique style and now ships around the world.
